And with that, I say, happy six more weeks of winter. The oracle has spoken. Or rather, Punxsutawney Phil has been spooked yet again by his own shadow, the poor schnook. So, grab a blanket and a few DVDs (maybe this one?) and snuggle in, folks. We're gonna be here for awhile.
For the record, here in Oklahoma, we haven't seen two weeks of winter yet, much less six. A few cold weeks, but no snow or ice to speak of (maybe one day). And the rest of the time it's been 50 degrees or hotter.
We actually hit the 70's a couple weeks ago. In January! So I can handle six more weeks of this.
Muahaha! Here in Canada Wiarton Willie(an albino groundhog) gave us the a-okay for an early spring! Very lovely!
